    Frequently Asked Questions

Q.What are the first 3 steps in any medical emergency in Mumbai?

    1) Ensure scene safety so you aren't endangered. 2) Call emergency services (108 or hospital emergency at +91 93221 52544). 3) Check if the victim is conscious and breathing; initiate CPR if pulse and breathing are absent.

Q.How do you give hands-only CPR to an adult?

Place the heel of one hand in the center of the victim's chest, interlock your other hand on top, and push hard and fast (100 to 120 compressions per minute, about 2 inches deep) until paramedics or medical help arrives.

Q.What should you NEVER do when someone is choking?

Do not perform blind finger sweeps in the mouth if you cannot see the object, as you might push it further into the airway. Perform back blows and Heimlich abdominal thrusts instead.
